WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN MY FIRST SESSION?After scheduling your first appointment, you will complete initial intake forms online using your patient portal. This will include a health and history questionnaire giving you an opportunity to share your story. This allows us to tailor your initial evaluation to address the problems that are important to you. When you arrive for your visit, you will be taken to a private room where we will discuss in detail your history, current difficulties, and goals for treatment. We will then perform a comprehensive examination, which includes a movement and postural analysis, and more specific examination techniques depending on your individual case. To achieve the best outcomes, a pelvic floor exam is preferred for pelvic floor conditions but is not required for treatment. From here, we will recommend a treatment program to help you achieve your goals. We will make referrals to other healthcare providers if physical therapy is deemed inappropriate for your condition.
